It’s late in the year and bonuses are coming, but it’s not too late to leave your banking job for a hedge fund, and Harold Roso has done it.

We haven’t spoken to Harold and Barclays isn’t commenting but it’s understood that Roso has resigned. He’s going to Balyasny multistrategy hedge fund.
Roso was a star trader at Barclays, where he’d worked since joining as an intern in 2012. He will be missed.
He is the latest in a line of traders to leave the bank, including Jerry Minier, the co-head of FX in August. Despite Minier’s departure, the British bank won slots at the recent Euromoney FX awards. Colleagues said he was part of Barclays’ next generation of talent and a flamboyant figure on the desk with celebrity affiliations.
